Welcome to our 3 bedrooms, 3 bath vacation home! Wake up to spectacular sunrises overlooking Ft. Gibson Lake with easy access to public Boat Ramps, Parks & Swim Beach. Located right off Highway 51, you can literally walk next door to a convenience store, gas, bait store, restaurants & yes, even shopping!!
Our “Pet-friendly” home boasts a very unique view of the bridge and is ready and waiting for you to walk in and begin enjoying being on “lake-time”. Complete with everything you need to cook in or out, cuddle up read a book, take a relaxing walk along the lakeshore just out the back door. Grab your tackle box to fish at the jetty or along the bridge. And did we mention the SHOPPING?
WE DO NOT HAVE INTERNET IN THE HOUSE...So you'll spend less time on those electronic devices and more time in Mother Nature...
but is you NEED wifi...it's accessible from our Store...see below...

Brad &?Deb, the owners of this charming rock house, VENUE-Stay! also own the (old restaurant building)?up on the hill next door. VENUE-Shop! (33914 HWY 51) was lovingly renovated into an Art Gallery & Boutique after sitting neglected for over a decade.
Once you are greeted by our steel-Wolf Sculpture and open the historic “ship-door” you will step on to a floor of “faux-water’ and find Wolf Clan Gallery & Boutique.
( a non profit give-back gallery) featuring over 30 artisans, a consignment clothing and MANY wonderful, original gift-finds. VENUE-Shop! is also home to L3...LIVE, LOVE, LAKE Boutique &?Home Decor where you’ll find unique comfy clothing, hats, jewelry &?more for your lakeside living and vacation fun. L3 Boutique also features Oklahoma made gifts &?Coffee. Rose Rock Coffee is ‘small batch-craft-coffee roasted right next door in beautiful Tahlequah, OK.

This home was originally built in the 70’s and is part of the authentic Taylor Ferry landing into the landscape of campgrounds, awesome water views, fire pits with lots of outdoor situations to enjoy! Take a stroll a few yards through a tree lined panorama to your own trail to Taylor Ferry South campground. In fact, invite your friends with RV’s to camp there just behind the house and all of you can create memories on the large back deck, patios and bbq pavilion.
TALK?ABOUT?EATING... In addition to a stocked kitchen with all the utensils to cook pancakes on the gas-oven built-in griddle to a gas bbq grill located on the covered pavillion facing the lake, you’ll have a hard time choosing where to eat your meals. There are 2 firepit areas to roast those hot dogs or have a fish fry...AND, if cooking is not your thing, just WALK across the street to the famous, Pizza Port, celebrating its 30th year in business. An easy walk away, you’ll find “Crooked Hook Deli” inside Carl’s Bait Store and can order up some home-made deli sandwiches (?picnic-style) This bait store has thought of just about of the most organized bait selections you'll ever see!! Cj’s Convenience Store & Eagle Fuels offers up, not only fuels, but hot coffee, great breakfast sandwiches, food &?grocery items. Opening at 5am for those early-bird anglers, they have ice ready for your coolers, and many, many lake sundries. Make sure to save room for their fried catfish dinners on Friday. AND, of course, the BEER?CAVE...
Just a few more blocks toward Wagoner on HWY?51, a brand new Dollar General opened up and they have a little bit of everything, including a large area of groceries. And if you need a post office or amenities of the City, Wagoner is just 5 miles west! For those of you that are Elks' members, it's an easy 2 block jaunt, as well!! ( ask about joining Deb & Brad to an Elk Dinner sometime)
If going out for a meal sounds good, there are several places to eat on the water by zip across the bridge to Sequoyah State Park...

Yes, that’s right, you can see Sequoyah park Marina from the front porch ot Venue-Stay! slips, pontoon rentals, The park has hiking, horseback riding, golf, etc...
If a boat ride is calling you don’t have your own boat there are a few boat &?water-toy rentals nearby. For those serious fisherman, once you pull off HWY 51 at our home, there is parking-galore and electrical access available to keep those boats charged!
We are an easy drive to &?from Tulsa, and close to Hulbert, Tallequah, Muskogee and Ft. Gibson. The Illinois river awaits with boundless floating, rafting, canoeing WATER is your playground here in Oklahoma's, Green Country.
Each of the Bedrooms has their own private baths and come complete with sundries that you may have forgotten to pack that will to get you through your stay.
“KANSAS” Bedroom is the Master Suite of the house with a KING?bed, sliding doors that open to the East side views, patios &?pavillions.
The large bath has a walk-in shower and it’s very own water heater for quick warm-ups! It features a large closet to store away your outfits, luggage and shopping purchases...A double sink vanity is big enough for two and offers a desk and a make-up lighted mirror in case you have time for a facial. This bath also has hot wax & spa-feet tubs for extra pampering!
Brad’s home state was Kansas and this is where the couple met 12 years ago. The charming great plains of Kansas is pure eye-candy with acres and acres of wheat and sunflowers...
“FLORIDA” Bedroom features 3- TWIN?beds, a pull-out trundle bed and an additional twin.
There is a sliding-glass door that exits to the back yard and privacy of the woods and a view of the campground and the Lake. There is a wardrobe closet and a separate full bath to enjoy ‘soak-time’ with lotions, potions and hand-made soaps! This bedroom has a window view of the lake and fresh air can flow across you as you have sweet dreams about fishing. There is a ceiling fan and a floor fan for extra air movement when that afternoon sun comes around...
Deb lived in Vero Beach, Florida for 5 years before moving back to the Heartland and meeting the love of her life, Brad. Florida holds magical charm for an artist as well as anyone who appreciates nature, water & sky! The ART?in this room boasts the launch of Deb’s chapter of doing art for numerous Hotels and Commercial venues...
“ILLINOIS” Bedroom has a FULL bed, a large closet for storage and a closet activity center for the little ones, complete with a large collection of VHS?movies, coloring books and Deb’s childhood reading and rocking chair. The love and appreciation for Vintage Cars is an common topic in Deb & Brad’s lives, as Brad is a lifetime gearhead. Since Deb was born in Illinois in 1957, she has her eyes on an older model and until they find the perfect fixer-upper’ the antique hood, photos and rusty relics will have to do. This bedroom has an ironing board, iron, laundry basket, a window fan to get that fresh air in and a large ceiling fan to move the night air! The large full bath across the hall is a step away and comes stocked with the sundries you’ll need for a tub or a quick shower!
The Illinois bathroom has access to the Laundry Room, which is the “INDIANA” room and provides the back door for getting up early to get on the lake for first bites!
Brad &?Deb had a short but fully lived year in Attica Indiana, which is where Deb gathered her collection of vintage wash boards... the home they shared had THE?LARGEST?LAUNDRY?room in the history of man and will always be in honor of our time a fitting tribute...
The Indiana (Laundry Room)?is also a tribute to the couples love of gardening, and Indiana life came with a very large garden and the largest crop of 18 year old just the sound of the word, makes our mouths water for it!
The OZARKS is the theme for the Living Room/Dining Room combo as Deb went to College at Missouri State and had a design firm in Springfield, MO for 18 years. The “Show-ME” State opened her eyes to the beauty of water and trees and the couple both feel that this VENUE-Stay! is a combination of all the places they have lived, and loved...
